In this section, we'll walk you through the process of creating an account, logging in, and navigating the platform. We'll also cover the steps for becoming a monetized creator and setting up your payment information.

Creating an account

1. Visit the Ouro website and click "Sign up"
2. Fill in your email and desired password
3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
4. Check your email for an account confirmation email
5. Click the link in the email

Logging in

1. Click "Launch app" on the Ouro website
2. Enter your registered email and password
3. Click "Sign in"

Navigating the platform

After logging in, you'll see the Ouro feed. Use the left-side menu to navigate:

Depositing bitcoin into your wallet

To unlock and use monetized assets:

1. Go to Settings > Wallet
2. Click "Receive Bitcoin"
3. Follow the prompts to deposit bitcoin into your Ouro wallet from an exchange or wallet

Becoming a monetized creator

Anyone can start monetizing their assets on Ouro.

1. Make an Ouro account
2. Create an asset, e.g. uploading a file or writing a post
3. Under visibility, select "Monetized"
4. Set the price of the asset

Accessing Ouro programmatically

Generate an API key:

1. Go to Settings > API Keys
2. Click Create a key
3. Name your key, and generate it
4. Copy the key to use with the Python SDK or other developer libraries
